So back when my niece was not quite a year old, my brother and sister in law asked to do some family photos and I was thrilled of course because they are my favorite and Lucy was the cutest thing I've ever seen. They met me at Gasworks Park and it was a gorgeous sunny day outside. Now, this can pose its own problems because the harsh sunlight can cause weird shadows on faces among other things. But, we were able to find some shade, I also utilized some fill flash and sometimes I just shot right into the sun for a different kind of style of picture. We also drove back over to Greenlake and the light was really soft and nice. As I was editing the photos I was getting so excited because so many of the shots turned out so well, mostly because all three of them are super photogenic. So there you go. It was a fun shoot because they are my family, andI loved how the photos turned out.
